CAPACITY

Lulatec was established with a focus on the Design, Fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel for Electrical Substations and the Powerlines market. Lulatec has an impressive Production capability – ensuring them to be amongst one of the largest Structural Steel Fabrication Companies.

Lulatec currently produces a massive 300 tons of steel per month, with compliance to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, SABS ISO 1461, NOSA and other SABS codes of practice. We provide CNC structural manufacturing lines, bird guards, acrylic UV stabilized plastic pole covers and the supply of the patented site barricading system - “Mobi Barrier”.

Lulatec uses the following tooling and equipment to ensure optimum production of Structural Steel Products:
  • 2700 square meters workshop
  • CNC Angle Processing machinery (35mm X 3THK to 120 X 16THK)
  • 2 X 180 Tonne Cropping machines
  • 1 X 120 Tonne CNC bending machine
  • 2 x Turret milling machines
  • 2 X Band Saws
  • 8 X Mig, Stick and C02 Welding
  • 1 X 52mm Radial drilling machine
  • Assorted hand tools
  • Laser cut Plate works (outsourced)
  • Bird Diverters/Guard and Pole Cover tooling (Mould)

DELIVERY CAPABILITY & PERIOD

  • 3 x 8 tonnes Crane Trucks
  • 1 X 14 tonnes Crane Truck
  • 1 X 5 tonnes forklift
  • Loading Facility

Delivery period for any project is 4 to 8 weeks.
